Precisely controls over-revving and launch rpm. Launch limits are adjustable from 3000 to 10750 rpm; over-rev limit is adjustable from 10000 to 13750 rpm. Both ranges are adjustable in 250-rpm increments. Works only with single-fire, two-coil inductive-type electronic ignitions; not for CDI-type ignitions. Spares unnecessary poundings of expensive engine components.
